    we will buy top players dont worry but this kid is talented, a lot of clubs were out for him and he will hopefully we a first choice in the team in 2 years time. You gotta buy young aswell. Why we bought sanogo I dont know because he gets injured every 2 weeks and hasn't been impressive

    @Gadolski: Dan crowley is 16-15 he wont come good for atleast another 3-4 years

    Yes, Chelsea are trying to sign schurlle, navas for city....but have those deals been done yet?....no, these things take time. All our targets, Wanyama, Higuian, Jovetic, Benteke and Grenier are all unsure of their future. Plus, we can only afford to fit 3-4 more players in our squad, without forcing current players out the squad, so we can't just sign willy nilly, we need to make the appropriate signings. I don't want Arsenal to go rushing in on Maxime Gonalons and take the holding midfielder vacancy if Wanyama comes out in 2 weeks and insists he wants to Join Arsenal and waste the chance.

    We need 3-4 signings and these 2 whole months to do it in, that is fine, considering Podolski, Giroud and Cazorla all came in towards the end of the transfer Window last year. Besides, we've just cleared out a lot our youth. 10 Players it's expected, Jernade Meade (who I actually thought looked promising) Sanchez Watt (again, who I was hoping might just make the grade) Craig Eastmond, Conor Henderson and some others too....but thankfully, Chuks Aneke has stayed, really hope he can make it, tall, strong and has great passing ability.

    Besides, rather an arrogant narrow minded view, considering Kieran Gibbs, Jack Wilshere and Szczesney all came from our youth team. Besides, one youngster I'm really hoping we sign is Dan Crowely, lad looks incredible on the pitch.

    @James Egg

    ...And that's bad because?...he's not going to take our expenses as his wages won't be high (given his age) so at what loss is that? Arshavin, Squillaci and Denilson have completed their contracts and they will be released, at the moment we appear to be clearing out the dead wood...

    THE HARD TRUTH

    Do you all want to know my opinion of Arsenal?....I still do not believe we'll ever be Man United, Chelsea or Man City, we have ambition but does that necessarily mean we will be the best?...no, I'm going to be honest with all of you, Arsenal does not have what it takes to be the best, simply because we don't have a bottomless pit of money....lets face it, players are greedy, Walcott is greedy, Podolski, all of em, they don't need £100,000, or £80,000 a week but they take it don't they? And the fact is, if they were so loyal to Arsenal and that they will never leave the club for money then they would come out and say that wouldn't they......no player is loyal, sure, united's players are loyal but would they have been if they hadn't won trophies every year under fergie? No, probably not. Look at Dortmund...effectively, that is what Arsenal are building up to become. We're are nurturing a great team on a budget, and everyone likes peeking over and seeing what were doing, we're achieving high finishes without spending bazillions and in modern football, that only ends one way.....You become a victim of your own success. Bayern see whats happening and they buy Gotze and Lewandoski [...players they don't even need], Santana joins Schalke, hummels could be out too....I'm not condemning the club I love but I am condemning football....we can't be where we want to be and what we want to be with the way we are doing it.......but, do we want to become brain dead fans who support their club for money and trophies.....forget why we ever supported the club in the first place. Money is becoming and more and more influential on this sport, and if you don't have enough of it, you have limits as to what you can achieve, it's the hard truth.

    If we all want a glorious team, we aren't going to get it, not for some time anyway. I've always dropped my jaw, looking how Arsenal have constructed themselves into the club that they are now, without a ridiculous amount of money...it's incredible, but the fact is, we still aren't strong enough financially to compete...look at what City are doing, look at Chelsea, Monaco, PSG...they are splashing cash all over their team and theres nothing we or football can do about it....you shouldn't be angry at Arsenal for not being rich, you should be angry at Football and the governing bodies for turning this sport into 'whoever has the most chips wins'. At one point, it was about what was in your hand, not in the middle of the table. Face it, Arsenal can't be where we all want them to....it's fact, we can win trophies, I'm not saying that and I want Arsenal to win a trophy but we will never be a club big players want to join...we can only be a club that builds big players...the only thing Arsenal are doing wrong?...is not keeping them.

  • But Arsenal are also wanting to sign Higuain and Roney.
