If you were to choose the next president of the Philippines senate, who would you choose? Why?

I cant believe that people are actually saying vote for Miriam Santiago. I think the person who should get the job is the one that is most qualified to do the job, no matter what the party affiliation is. I am sorry, but Miriam Santiago is definitely not the right person for the job. Wake up people. Time to choose someone that is level headed and knows what they are talking about. Don't pick someone who spouts off at the mouth like a crazy chicken!

If you want a strong person to lead the Philippines and not a wimp you will elect a person who owes no one any favors and is not interested in the family dynasty. Someone who will stand strong against any opposition with the future of the country as the main objective.

If I were a Philippine citizen, I would choose Miriam Santiago. Of course her only fault is that she is a woman in a country where male dominance comes first.

History shows that strong women are just as capable at leading a country as a man.

No one because they are all the same. Corruption, that's is really a bad characteristic of a filipino. I am currently studying and I own a book about business and law and there were many examples in the book saying how Philippines bribe and corrupt.

But then maybe Manny pacquiao may have a chance.

I'll choose Miriam Defensor Santiago, because she is always ever ready to defend and fight for what she think is right.
