How to encode videos on a GTX 670?
I have a pair of GTX 670's and a few videos I want to encode. The problem is that I cannot seem to get the encoding software to use the video cards. I know that there is a special chip (NVENC I think it's called) that is supposed to do this, but how do I use it? I've tried Free Studio, Hand Brake, and Format Factory, and none of these work. Thanks!

One of the only free ones that I've come across is http://www.mediacoderhq.com/ . It can encode h.264 video only though, shouldn't be a big deal but wanted to point it out.
One of the better paid programs I've heard of, but have not personally used is http://badaboomit.com/?q=node/4 .
Basically if you ever are looking for software that can do it yourself just specify " cuda-enabled " to ensure that it can utilize your GPU's.
