What is your opinion on tattoos?
A person said that if you get a tattoo you might as well worship the devil. For me, it depends on the tattoo, you know? If someone has a deep meaningful tattoo; that doesn't make them of the devil? Also, how about tattoos and having a job?

I have a few tattoos and I don't worship the devil, I'm not religious. That's probably said to help prevent people from getting tattoos.
I have worked in retail with tattoos for several years, where I work is a causal environment. They don't care as long as your tattoos are not offensive. But more formal places may ask that you keep any tattoos that can be concealed, covered up.

Since you asked for opinions, here's mine: I like tattoos a lot (if you knew me, this would be obvious). With that being said, tattoos are definitely not for everyone. Also, the person that said "if you get a tattoo you might as well worship the devil" is stupid in my opinion. I have lots of tattoos and I certainly do not worship the devil. In fact, I am a fairly devout Protestant Christian. As for having a job and having tattoos, that depends (as others have answered) on where the tattoo(s) is located on one's body. I have my whole left arm sleeved and several tattoos on my back, and I work in a white-collar job- I just always wear a long-sleeved shirt, and no one would even know that I have any tattoos at all (the dress code at my workplace is business casual, so all the men have to wear dress shirts and slacks anyway). Now, if a person gets tattoos on his/her face, neck, or hands, then that will almost certainly be detrimental to obtaining any job in which he/she must interact with clients/customers on a regular basis (this applies to A LOT of jobs). Anyway, that is my opinion. Hope that helps.

While one may want a tattoo, they may very well come to regret it later in life. For this reason I will not get a tattoo, however I will not discriminate people who have them. Tattoos can affect jobs depending on the tattoo itself and the location.

It's up to them! I'd like a few (small!) tattoos when i'm older and i like men with tattoos. When they're covered in them it's different, i don't particularly like full arm or half sleeve ones.
