What type of game is it? I've seen a few trailers and it seems like a Sims game. Could you give me some more information on what you can do on this game? A couple of my friends said they were going to get it, but I don't know much about the series.

You've never play an animal crossing game?
It's more or less a mix between the sims and Pokemon. It's like the sims in that you do a lot of menial tasks like running errands for your neighbors or decorating/cleaning your town.
It's like Pokemon in that you can trade to get the stuff that you don't have, like a certain fruit. You can also catch them all like fish and insects.
It's a fun game if you want something casual. It's not intense by any means. It's rather lay back. You do whatever you want but there are consequences if you don't play for a long time, such as weeds growing wild on your town.
