How Do I Change the Date on an Email?

Okay, so I'm trying to prove that I sent an email a couple days before I actually did. Is there anyway to change the date on the email, so that it shows the changed date to both the sender and receiver?

I'm using Yahoo! mail Canada!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No, you can't change the date on an email. It's electronic mail, so the date is recorded electronically the second it is sent. You can't change it like a document because it doesn't get saved to change whenever you like, it's permanently sent, kind of like sending a letter in the mail. The post office stamps ink with the date over your postage to show what day it was processed. Email does the same thing, just with an electronic date and time instead of ink.
