Help with my iPhone 3GS, error -1, 1600 please?

I have an iPhone 3GS which I had purchased because it kept shutting itself down and restarting. I thought this would be a simple fix of restoring the phone etc

Every time I try to restore it gives me either error -1, 1600 and sometimes 3194.

I tried using sn0wbreeze and it had gave me software to use through iTunes to restore and the restore worked but then the phone got stuck on the apple logo

What should i do?

    sounds like it was jailbroke with evasion.

    those cant be updated or restored.

    if it wasnt try updating itunes and edit your host files.
