How many gifts do you get your boyfriend for his birthday/Christmas/just because?

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 2 years. He is 23 and I am 24.

We live an hour away from each other and visit at least every other week, if not every weekend. I know him pretty well, but I am notorious for giving bad gifts.I have a really well paying job, so money isn't too much of an issue here.

My first question is, what gifts do you give your boyfriend? How do you keep ideas coming and keep the gifts fresh, new, exciting, and thoughtful? Without being cheesy and cliche?

My second question is, when you come up with these things, do you give spread out your ideas so that you will have something to get him for Christmas, birthday, etc?

For example, I finally have a decent idea to pre-order him a game that he likes to play (He isn't a full on gamer, but he likes this game so its an okay gift) and I also want to get him snowboarding boots. So my question is, do you give him all these things at once? What is an appropriate amount of gifts to give for each occassion?

Should I give him something small and something big? Do guys like cards? He pretends to love everything I get him so I'm just not sure! ;)

I'm probably over thinking it, but he is the type that feels special when someone gives him a personal gift. He and his family are very good gift givers and every year, they get something awesome and really are so thoughtful about it. I want to show him how much I *know* him and love him.

Just a pre-ordered game seems like so little especially because he isnt DYING for it, but if I get him more than one thing, I will run out of ideas and I'm not sure if it will be too much.

Thank you!

I think it's nice to gift personal and bought items. For example, buy him things he has mentioned or items i know he really wants. But my boyfriend has really liked the handmade gifts too. Here are some things i have made:

*for his birthday i put folded note cards in a sugar shaker and on each card decorated it and put a nice message or personal thought on each card. He opened one a day for a couple months and loved it. some sugar for my sugar :)

*i made a picture frame and put his favorite picture of us in it (you can buy a standard frame and liven it up with ribbon but still make it masculine--he loved the fact that i "made" it).

*made a memories video with our vacation footage and pictures. He really liked that one a lot.

Guys are pretty easy to get for but really like it when you surprise them with something you wouldn't normally do.

    Best wishes,

If you want a boyfriend so bad, then I highly recommend following this https://bitly.im/aOimF Since you've never dated or been kissed before, it's going to be hard to get a boyfriend if you don't know what to do but once you know what to do, you'll be able to get a boyfriend pretty easily and can share your dating stories with your friends and experience those feelings yourself. You'll even be able to attract guys you might feel is out of your league. I suggest going on a bunch of dates before choosing one guy to be your boyfriend. Have fun.
