16th birthday party themes?

Spa party - mani/pedi, facemasks (they can make their own or you can buy some organic products)

Chocolate party - the girls can make their own chocolates in molds. You can have a chocolate fountain for them to dip fruit in.

Campout - fire pit with smores, finger foods etc.

Dance party - Just Dance Wii

Hollywood party - make it a little glamorous. Add a velvet cloth as a backdrop and a red carpet to take photos against. Have fun hats and boas for the kids to wear (think New Year's eve). Karaoke might work with this theme.

A Halloween theme is cool and hire a palm reader or psychic. Another fantastic idea :

Have everyone create their own hand painted t-shirts ! It's really cool & loads of fun. Just try to get everyone's correct size for t-shirts and Google all the supplies you'll need for a great time. Besides, all your friends will have something to remind them of you're special day for quite sometime.

You can make a game of it also by offering little consolation prizes for the prettiest, ugliest, coolest, most creative, ...you get the idea.

My daughter is now 28 and one of her childhood friends went to visit her and showed her the shirt she made from my daughter's 5th birthday party. It's a wonderful idea and can have lasting memories

Hawaian - have mini manicures and pedicures n facials etc. Hawaiian music in the back ground. Order some hula skirts online for each to wear or flowers.

Hollywood- Have a mini redcarpet for them to walk along as they enter your house. you could also go on this website (http://www.redkid.net/generator/star/sign.php) and do one for each of your firends and type their names in then print. On the day stick them outside your house with the red carpet so it is like they are walking on the walk on fame with their names !
