Is it proper for a non-lactating woman to nurse a baby?

    this is hysterical. i was at my son & daughter-in-law's getting to know my youngest grandson. she left the baby with me while she took the kids to school. baby started crying almost immediately. after half-an-hour i was sorely tempted to pull out my very old breast to keep the baby quiet! i didn't do it though!

    NO! Plus the baby will cry more when no milk comes out! Get a bottle or walk around holding the baby but never ever put your breast into someone else's baby's mouth! Or don't breast fed a baby when you have no milk to give!

    Yes, if you have a bottle that would work as well and would probably be better if you just gave it some formula.
