Found a circular egg, what animal species can it be?

It's approximately an inch in size.

This picture looks a lot like it : http://naturetime.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/sea-...

I found it in my front yard, I live in a Floridian suburb area with a lake around 5 minutes away.

Doesn't look bird like, it's a perfect circle.

Kind of pinkish in color and has a white circle at the bottom.

I am thinking it's perhaps a turtle egg?

What should I do with it? Report to animal control? I am unsure if I have any supplies to take care of it.

Could be a snake or turtle egg . I wouldn't worry about it, most venomous snakes do live bearing .

    No,you didn't....circles are one dimensional....that's globular.

    & You don't "do" anything...it's dead.
