If PS4's online play fee isn't a hit will it go back to a free service?

They said you will need PlayStation Plus but why not they need the money for pricing it at $399.99 and able to use Used Names.

Also Just got PS+ Today and I Love it. Got games free already including Uncharted 3. And huge discounts Black Ops 2 and Far Cry 3 For 29.99!!!!!

seriously who cares which console individuals plan to buy but the companies. they both are pushing the envelop for future gaming systems. people get caught up being fanboys and just sound ignorant when the try to state there clams. if we all just look at the facts as they were presented starting from the day when both systems were revealed its obvious that these gaming system are aimed at at different demographics. 1) x1 or x bone as i like to call it is an entertainment / gaming system ps4 is a gaming / entertainment system....same difference. but im going with a ps4 for this generation it has a better ram and better graphics card and less ui which means more of the processing power will be detected to the games un like xbone which well allot portions of the cpu/ram to multitasking making to system slightly less powerful then the ps4 due to the fact that the cpu is on x bone is running alot more bs. think of how fast a computer works when u open a few programs all at once, its the same concept. 2) think of last gen systems ps3 and 360 were both amazing. the main thing that set them apart was the online experience and a few exclusives. gears, halo, gods of war, uncharted. that could be a big selling point for ppl but its not that big a deal for me cuz all the really interesting game come out ON ALL PLATFORMS. so the biggest concern would be the online experience why was 360's online so much better?.... duh because we as gamers PAID for it to be better. now that ps4 will have a paid online service i will be leaps and bounds above what sony gave us on ps3 BECAUSE WE ARE PAYING for a better experience this time. beside xblive was $50 bucks for the year now sony is doing the same and with psplus as a member every month or so to my understanding you get FREE games...which one of u fan boys dont like free sh!t come on. 3) as of right now people spend there hard earned money every day and life isnt cheap so the $100 dollar price difference between the two system may be a big game changer. i spend hundreds of dollar a month experiencing life, buying clothes sneakers and other stupid sh!t, so hell yea i want to save a buck..dont you? 4) (warning fanboy bs ahead) i have every playstation system ever so why wouldn't i buy a ps4...? the big question is why should i buy a x bone... i loved 360 and ps3 but this gen still feels like last gen so why do i need both? i dont and neither do u the gimmicks this time around arent enough for me to shell out almost 1500 on both systems and games this time so ps4 wins my vote. so all you gamers out just like me grab some dews, brews, roll up a fat one cut the lights and get ready for lots of sleepless nights when these systems come out sh!t u might have to call in sick for a whole week since it will be flu season (i got this all planed out) i hope to see tons of you playing destiny on ps4 but if not... xbone is cool to just wave at gates as he watches u thru ur band new BIG BROTHER kinect.

Dont worry. So y would definatly change back if it fails. And also the online pay is not for everygame. Its for some games that just need extra money to keep going and thats why its a package, its for some, not all. So you wont have to pay for all online gaming, they have already seen how much xbox failed with that

I doubt it ! The PSN has been free since the PS3 and it has had its share of issues ! Maintaining servers isn't cheap and so Sony had to start charging at some point !

Nope, people payee for Xbox live for years so ps4 has no reason to with draw
