Converting a Page doc to a Word?

So I have a problem. Whenever I work at school, we use Macs and naturally, Mac most often use pages. I opened my document not thinking about it, now I need to access it in Word but it won't let me on my computer. Can anyone lend me a hand?

Update:

That won't work. It says that the file is incomplete or invalid.

    You need to open the Pages file in Pages and save a version in the Word format from there. Alternatively, you can use the free conversion service at http://zamzar.com/

    Right click the file and choose "Open with" and then choose MS Word.
