Headache and fatigue after exercising?
I started walking on Monday in hopes that it would help lessen my anxiety and also so that I could just feel better all around. but after every time I've gone out, I get a headache and don't feel like doing anything for the rest of the day because I'm so tired. this is the first real physical activity I've done in a while, so could it be because my body isn't used to it or could it be something more serious? this is really worrying me.
I should mention that the headache went away after I rested for a few hours. I didn't go out on Tuesday- no headache or tiredness. I went out again yesterday, the symptoms came back.

Perhaps you are doing too much exercise too soon. Overexertion can cause fatigue and headaches.
You seem to have a fatigue problem. Perhaps the energy vitamin B12 can help or a vitamin B complex. Coenzyme Q10 can also help to boost your energy level as in http://au.search.yahoo.com/search?p=%22coenzyme+q1... The super food Spirulina is another good energy booster.
One of the most common fatigue causes is anxiety, which is known to effect 40 million U.S. adults each year. Anxiety is a state of fear of real or imagined danger, which is manifested as increased heart rate, trembling, panic, weakness, extreme fatigue and stomach or intestinal discomfort. Anxiety disorders make up the largest mental illness diagnosis in the U.S.
Besides anxiety there are many other common fatigue causes such as insufficient sleep, too much sleep, under eating, thyroid problems or other illnesses (such as anemia, mononucleosis, CFS, glandular fever and many others), side effects from medication, dehydration, overexertion, an unhealthy diet and other causes as discussed in http://au.search.yahoo.com/search?p=%22common+fati...

Yes apparently because you haven't done any physical activity... Your body isn't prepared for this so take it easy, don't force yourself and don't take hard physical activities. With time you will be more prepared and able to do higher level physical tasks just make sure you exercise every day but a little and every day make something new and that way your body will adjust. IF experiencing really bad headaches and severe fatigue then stop exercising and visit your doctor for advise.
