didn't get into ASB?

so i recently applied to be in ASB and i didn't make it... it's been like almost a month since they announced the results but i still feel a bit disappointed... i REALLY wanted it. i would've been okay with not getting it but the reason why i'm really sad is that it was my last chance to make it since i'm a junior now and i'm going to be a senior next year. it was my first and only chance to try out and i regret not trying out before. i was on student council in middle school so that made me want to be in ASB in high school. for some reason i really wanted to get in ASB this year because before i didn't care because i loved water polo (i'm on the water polo team). now i don't know how to deal with it. i felt like ASB would've been a great family to be a part of because i don't feel that way in water polo, there's too much drama and i don't feel close to my teammates (only some though). i'm not even going to be in varsity so i thought why not go for ASB and kinda got my hopes up a bit too high because i really wanted to get in. it sucks that i didn't make it and i wish i could go back to change some stuff i did. you guys have any advice? i can't even enjoy water polo anymore because all i'm thinking about is how i didn't make it and how i'm never going to have the chance to get in.
