What is the term for a benign mole, that can develop into skin cancer?

I definitely need a little help with this one. I had 2 moles removed, and both were benign, however, the doctor said the one had signs of developing possibly into Melanoma. I just want to know what the term is for this. I believe the term had the word "constructive" in it describing the mole? Any help is appreciated. I've searched the internet with no avail (And that's rare lol)
