So my wife wants a divorce, and I have been using a new approach to stop it.?
My wife one month ago said she doesn't love me anymore. She says she is bored to death of her life, and doesn't want to be with me. I have been applying techniques from the book, "Stop Your Divorce!" By Homer McDonald, and they seem somewhat unorthordox. But I have to say it has changed some of the tide. Anyone familiar with this book, will know what I am talking about.
My wife has had self esteem issues for most of her life which is ridiculous, because she is absolutely gorgeous. She was a model at one point.
I have been applying the methods:
1. Stop pressuring, whining and complaining
2. Agree 100% happily and sincerely, no matter what, even if she is wrong.
3. Act perfectly happy about everything
4. Do everything instantly and happily 100% your mates way.
The only one I cant bring myself to do is date others. We are still married and together, living in the house and 2 children. We dont sleep together as of right now, but her attitude towards me has changed in terms of being happier then she was. She talks to me differently. Granted she has seeked hostility here and there and I won't give it too her.
My question is, what do I do next? Where do I go from here? Should I continue as is? Granted I have only been doing this for about 1 week. I don't expect a miracle. Maybe I am just seeking reassurances. But any advice would be helpful.
Thank you

BQ: Do you support the dragnet data collection being committed by the NSA? Do you feel it keeps us safer?
For those of you who value privacy, I recommend Startpage search engine, or Duck Duck Go. Today, my favorite email client, Lavabit.com, willingly closed their doors, because they refused to hand over their algorithm, information, and passwords to the federal government. Lavabit, is (was) the email client Edward Snowden used as well.
Email Company Reportedly Used By Edward Snowden Shuts Down Rather Than Hand Data Over To Feds
8 AnswersPolitics8 years agoSo everything that you're doing on the internet is being stored by the NSA?
We were told it was just metadata they were collecting... score another 1 for the tin hat people. James Clapper flat out lied to everyone. (No surprise there...)
"Using NSA PowerPoint presentations provided by whistleblower and former NSA contractor Edward Snowden, Greenwald explained: “One presentation claims the [XKeyscore] program covers ‘nearly everything a typical user does on the internet,’ including the content of emails, websites visited and searches, as well as their metadata.” Greenwald added: “Analysts can also use XKeyscore and other NSA systems to obtain ongoing ‘real-time’ interception of an individual's internet activity.”
"Greenwald also explained: “An NSA tool called DNI Presenter, used to read the content of stored emails, also enables an analyst using XKeyscore to read the content of Facebook chats or private messages. Analysts can also search by name, telephone number, IP address, keywords, the language in which the internet activity was conducted or the type of browser used.”
Where do we Americans draw the line? Does this not outrage you, regardless of party? What happened to privacy??? The 4th amendment?? It's been 1 consecutive lie after another! This could have serious implications on free speech, especially if you're not a threatening person. Could you imagine the false positive approach if someone scored high enough on their radar? It could be downright terrifying!

REPORT: The Federal Government Wants To Know Your Account Passwords

Federal Government Demands Internet Passwords
http://www.thenewamerican.com/tech/computers/item/...
"The report revealed, again citing “a person familiar with the requests,” that some of the federal government “orders” (not requests) have demanded more than a user’s password but also the encryption algorithm and the so-called “salt.” In cryptography, a salt is random data that are used as an additional input to a one-way function that hashes a password or passphrase.... The original intent of salting was primarily to defeat pre-computed rainbow table attacks that could otherwise be used to greatly improve the efficiency of cracking the hashed password database. In other words, the federal government wants not only the key to the lock, but also the means to disarm the security protecting the lock, as well. Other government orders have demanded the secret question codes (e.g., “Who was your favorite teacher?”) often associated with user accounts."
Are you outraged, or is this still all within reason to you? Where do you draw the line in terms of what the government should know about you, and your life?
"Some people say, if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about. To which I say, if you have nothing to worry about, then you don't need rights."

Yes, I know where this speech is from. But I want everyone to listen to what is said. Instead of debating politics, why don't we discuss what it means to be alive? What it means to be human in a world of power and control? If there is something that is so ignored, and so callously pushed aside, it is the purpose and meaning our fellow men give life, and each other. We together can create a better world.

This video shows citizens willingly signing a petition to help Obama repeal the bill of rights. (Obviously this petition is fake. It was just to see how in touch regular people are with the politics, the media, history, and the government.) Obviously, these people are WAAAY out of touch with reality. It makes me sick.
Thoughts?
3 AnswersPolitics8 years agoWhat is the term for a benign mole, that can develop into skin cancer?
I definitely need a little help with this one. I had 2 moles removed, and both were benign, however, the doctor said the one had signs of developing possibly into Melanoma. I just want to know what the term is for this. I believe the term had the word "constructive" in it describing the mole? Any help is appreciated. I've searched the internet with no avail (And that's rare lol)
Thanks in advance!
2 AnswersCancer8 years agoStrict gun control has been proven not to work, so why push for it?
http://www.justfacts.com/guncontrol.asp#crime
Crime and Self-Defense
* Roughly 16,272 murders were committed in the United States during 2008. Of these, about 10,886 or 67% were committed with firearms.[11]
* A 1993 nationwide survey of 4,977 households found that over the previous five years, at least 0.5% of households had members who had used a gun for defense during a situation in which they thought someone "almost certainly would have been killed" if they "had not used a gun for protection." Applied to the U.S. population, this amounts to 162,000 such incidents per year. This figure excludes all "military service, police work, or work as a security guard."[12]
* Based on survey data from the U.S. Department of Justice, roughly 5,340,000 violent crimes were committed in the United States during 2008. These include simple/aggravated assaults, robberies, sexual assaults, rapes, and murders.[13] [14] [15] Of these, about 436,000 or 8% were committed by offenders visibly armed with a gun.[16]
* Based on survey data from a 2000 study published in the Journal of Quantitative Criminology,[17] U.S. civilians use guns to defend themselves and others from crime at least 989,883 times per year.[18]
* A 1993 nationwide survey of 4,977 households found that over the previous five years, at least 3.5% of households had members who had used a gun "for self-protection or for the protection of property at home, work, or elsewhere." Applied to the U.S. population, this amounts to 1,029,615 such incidents per year. This figure excludes all "military service, police work, or work as a security guard."[19]
* A 1994 survey conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that Americans use guns to frighten away intruders who are breaking into their homes about 498,000 times per year.[20]
* A 1982 survey of male felons in 11 state prisons dispersed across the U.S. found:[21]
• 34% had been "scared off, shot at, wounded, or captured by an armed victim"
• 40% had decided not to commit a crime because they "knew or believed that the victim was carrying a gun"
• 69% personally knew other criminals who had been "scared off, shot at, wounded, or captured by an armed victim"[22]
Washington DC. : * During the years in which the D.C. handgun ban and trigger lock law was in effect, the Washington, D.C. murder rate averaged 73% higher than it was at the outset of the law, while the U.S. murder rate averaged 11% lower.[37]
Great Britain: The homicide rate in England and Wales has averaged 52% higher since the outset of the 1968 gun control law and 15% higher since the outset of the 1997 handgun ban.[42]
Chicago: * Since the outset of the Chicago handgun ban, the percentage of Chicago murders committed with handguns has averaged about 40% higher than it was before the law took effect.[55]
Florida: * Since the outset of the Florida right-to-carry law, the Florida murder rate has averaged 36% lower than it was before the law took effect, while the U.S. murder rate has averaged 15% lower.[108]
Texas: * Since the outset of the Texas right-to-carry law, the Texas murder rate has averaged 30% lower than it was before the law took effect, while the U.S. murder rate has averaged 28% lower.[115]
***Please review this page yourself as well. Its a very wonderful piece, with no spin or bias from any author or journalist. Lets stop blaming the guns, and trying to ban them, because that WILL only make things worse. Lets talk armed security guards at our schools, not banning guns in general.
7 AnswersPolitics9 years agoThe VP debate was awful. Niether had any substance and lacked on facts?
Biden lied about 2014. We are still going to have US troops there for another ten years. That was an agreement signed by Obama with Karzai. 10 more years 100 billion dollars. Biden, that was a lie
Ryan merely tipped toed around the question of Syria. He lacked any substance when it came to talking about foriegn policy, and whenever he did, it was merely the "same sh*t, different day" run around we have been seeing for the past decade. Both of thier foriegn policies linger around keeping troops stationed abroad. Who really trusts these idiots? Every time you turn around they changed thier posistion. How many faces could you possibly have?
10 AnswersPolitics9 years agoThe CIA created Al Qaeda?
Al Qaeda was created by the CIA, in their offices in Washington D.C. It was created for Saudi Arabia to bankroll Osama bin Laden, through the House of Saud, "in the Afghan war against the Soviet Union during the 1980's and Riyadh and Washington together contributed an estimated $3.5 billion to the mujahideen."
"In late 2003, U.S. News & World Report conducted an exhaustive study titled. 'The Saudi Connection.' Its findings included the following."
"The evidence was indisputable: Saudi Arabia, America's longtime ally and the world's largest oil producer, had somehow become, as a senior Treasury Department official put it, 'the epicenter' of terrorist financing'
American forces are, at this moment, fighting people and organizations that we created, the groups we armed, and whom we continue to protect, from implications in the actions that occurred on 911. So who at the top is "friend" and who is "foe"? When that 'secrecy-protected phrase' "Links to Al Qaeda!" is uttered: Why is there never any proof of anything, and why has it continued now for three years without any challenge to the legitimacy of these empty claims? It appears that the American public has been had - and will continue to be taken down the primrose path (lined with the bodies of the hundreds of thousands that we've killed) - all because we'd really prefer not to look too closely at what our tax dollars are paying for

10 AnswersPolitics9 years agoDo you people EXPECT things from the government? like welfare and food stamps?
Heres a thought. If food stamps, and welfare, were not options for you to pursue from the government, wouldnt you work twice as hard to provide for your family instead of LIVING off of taxpayer money? I had 3 people offer to sell me foodstamps first year at my job. Its disgusting to watch people take tax payer money and use it for thier own personal gain. You want to help people? donate to a charity, or your time at a soup kitchen. Stop expecting the government to bail you out with free food and money courtesy of those who work for a living
10 AnswersPolitics9 years agoWhy support either of these 2 candidates?
We have an elitist mormon, and a socialist kenyan. There both absolutely horrifying. I really hope you people dont put that much faith into these men. Obama is an epic fail and Romney is no better. So what really drives you to support either of them???
Just to point out. Obamacare will make it virtually impossible for you an I, (Unless born into a wealthy family) to start a small business. Why? For any employee you hire, you have to provide health insurance. If not, you get a hefty fine. As if it wasnt hard enough. Job creator? More like job killer. Fail. As if food stamps, and welfare wasnt enough for lazy morons with 7 kids they couldnt afford to have. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULDNT BAIL YOU OUT BECAUSE YOUR A RETARD. Same goes for the adjustable rate tuition stupid college kids took. You wouldnt do it when you get a mortgage, why would you get it when your going to school? Idiots...everyone is an idiot
Romney. Do you think a man who has never fallen below his current social and financial class gives 2 sh*ts about the middle and lower class? Absolutely not. He's never walked 2 feet in our shoes. He's an elitist who cares only about his pockets and his pockets only. Are you blind?
If you support these candidates because your affiliated with a certain party, then you are an ultimate fail. Why would you support somebody just because there affiliated with a specific party? biases? I dont like Obama either, but I sure as hell wont vote for Romney. To me, anyone who does vote for these idiots, is wasting thier vote. Its like a vote on how to destroy America, and not make it any better
5 AnswersPolitics9 years agoI see the MSM is reporting that Ron Paul delegates are taking over conventions. Explain why he cant win?
Im not too involved with politics. I watch the news and read stories about things that interest me, but I dont look into everything. Thus im asking this question.
I saw on MSNBC, and FOX, that Ron Paul was taking over conventions, and that this trend is expected to continue. They also said that if this trend does continue, that Ron Paul could possibly take the nomination from under Romney. This shocked me beyond belief. I looked into it online and found sources that state about rules at the RNC, like rule 38, and 11, and that the RNC doesnt recognize bound delegates. I think this is what they meant when they said he can take the nomination
No im not a paulbot like some would say. I like the guy, but he is way to extreme for my blood. I originally supported Rick Perry, and lost interest when he dropped out. But I do like Paul better then Romney.
Im looking for a real, unbiased answer for this one. Ive been looking through some of these, just to find rediculous answers about "Pauls insane, and could never win the nomination". If this is the case, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY. Sources are great as well, if some could be provided
Thanks in advanced!
