I need to upload all the drivers for windows xp onto a laptop from a cd-rom that I put the files on....?

How do I upload them so that the computer can recognize them and utilize them? Would it work to just put them in a folder called "drivers"?

Update:

actually, I meant "download" them onto the laptop, not "upload"

    Hi Captain America,

You may download the drivers and burn these files on a CD/DVD directly. Putting them in a common folder named 'Drivers' and then burning the whole folder to the CD would also work. Check the link below for steps to burn a CD:

You may also put them on a USB flash drive and use it to install the drivers on the system.

    Hope this helps.

in case you won't be able to get them off the web, attempt copying the installers to a USB force or floppy with yet another computing gadget and then use that to get the drivers to the former computing gadget. you should also be in a position to make sure a community without installation some thing in case you've were given cables, yet i do not undergo in thoughts how precisely to attempt this.
