WOW, that is a LOT of miles, but I can tell you I LOVE my 2002 TT roadster.

    TIPS:

    1. GET A CARFAX REPORT -- it's well worth the $25 or $30

    2. LOOK UP THE BLUE BOOK VALUE -- go to kellybluebook.com or some such site

    3. NEGOTIATE THE PRICE -- offer less, see what the seller is willing to do

    4. BRING IT TO AN IMPORT MECHANIC for an all-over check of how well the car is doing; be sure to work with one who is a certified Audi mechanic. Again, costs you $75, but is worth saving you from dropping $7 large for something that needs MORE repairs

Lastly, it's important that you know that maintenance on an Audi is SKY HIGH. When I roll into an import mechanic for an oil change, it can be in the $75-100 range b/c the oil is a highly specialized synthetic type, and the parts are SPENDY. So, strap yourself in for some high costs. Ask your tire dealer what new tires would cost, ask your mechanic what a radiator flush will cost.

I don't think its a bad deal, its a hell of a car, an audi is a audi , try talking to the dealer asking for a better offer perhaps 7,500$. Good luck.
