TYPEWRITER INK ON LIGHT BEIGE RUG?
We have 2 spots (which we thought were grease) on a light beige carpet. I've received very good replies but we thought it was grease. It turns out my husband moved his antique typewriter and the stains must have come from there. So, now I need to re-ask; what is the best to get out these INK spots. Our carpet was recently cleaned and I hate to have to re-do it! Plus, the question being would they get it out or make it worse:-(

This method works for ball point pen ink, so I believe it should work for you.
You need a CAN of women's hair spray and some paper towels.
Saturate the spots with the hairspray, give it a few seconds to start working, now blot up the ink with those clean paper towels. IT IS IMPORTANT TO BLOT THE SPOT< DO NOT RUB IT OR IT WILL SPREAD.
Continue doing that tell the spots are removed.
It must be the canned hairspray, none of that spritzie stuff from a bottle.
Good luck to ya.
