You sure can. Dont listen to others that say you cant. Its very simple. Use a torrent downloader for your mac called VUZE to stream instead of the "allshare" software. Once you have VUZE installed you will see on the left hand side of VUZE a device playback option. Turn it on. Then from the list find your samsung tv or blu ray player and double click on it. then you will see what says "Media for ....." once there just drag any movie on your hard drive you want right into it and then on your tv just go to allshare and connect. it will most likely have a name that will start with VUZE and you will see the blue frog icon on the tv. Its actually way way simpler than the actual allshare software for windows. I have 1 mac computer 2 desktop windows pcs and a windows laptop. With VUZE I can share files to all of them! I also have 3 Samsungs that all do allshare.

you can also download an application called "plex media server" to your mac and then download the "plex" application from the samsung app store on your tv (both applications are free).

when you have your mac switched on and the plex server running on your mac you can browse and play the movies stored on your mac

the only downside is that you need to have your mac switched on to stream the movies.
