How do you feel about people who say they hate kids?

I'm sure when they say 'hate' they don't really mean it. People throw that word around all the time. I'm sure it doesn't mean they're going to go around killing kids or something. It's just an expression I'm sure.

There's nothing wrong with not liking children. In fact, I think it's good for people to admit that and realise that having children is not for them. It's better than people being pressured to have kids when it's not for them.

No they don't.

I am coming the conclusion that I would hate to be a mother. I have seen how it totally ruined lots of my friends lives. They claim it is for the better but, looking from the outside, you can see they are just self delusional.

I think it is good that we women are, at last, having the courage to break free from the typical gender roles society has assigned to us. Those who are brave enough to say what they feel, not what they ought to say, well done! You have spoken for us all, in a way!

I think they just have short tempers and may be very irritable or easily annoyed.

If they hate kids then they must really dislike teenagers, and surely adults too...misanthropes maybe?
