Is Gran Canaria or Tenerife suitable for us?
Me and my boyfriend are thinking of going to either Gran Canaria or Tenerife end june/early july this year. We are in our late twenties, and we would like to avoid BOTH big and family friendly hotels AND party areas. We want a vacation where we can explore towns and rural areas, relax at the beach, go shopping etc. So we are not really interested in the nightlife options... So my question is: do either of the two islands comply for our wishes or should we rather look elsewhere? Any tips on where to stay and what to see are highly appreciated!

It seems to me that the mainland Spain will fit your interest better.
Any of the smaller towns at the Costa del Sol.
