Should I invite these people to my birthday get-together?

I'm going out to dinner and a movie with my friends for my birthday. There are 2 people who always hang out with us because my friends are friends with them. One guy I find annoying but I try to act nice to him. One girl I just don't really talk to that much. I wouldn't want to make them feel bad if they find out I didn't invite them, but I don't really want them there either. What should I do?

Nah man. It's your party, invite who you are comfortable with and you know you'll have fun with... jsut tell your other friends not to tell them, but also tell them why you didn't invite them (ie: "I don't hate them, but I find them annoying and I don't feel like I can be myself 100% around them")

It's your birthday and you don't have to invite anyone you don't want to. If your friends insist, don't hold the get-together and spend the money on yourself instead.

If you're never the one that invites them any other time then it's no big deal if you don't invite them this time - if you don't get on then chance are it won't bother them anyway.
