Help! Set off bug bombs in my house and left my dog in the yard and came home to find my dog inside the house!?
Earlier today I set off 3 bug bombs (also known as foggers) in my house to get rid of palmettos and mosquitos. I have a fenced in yard so i left my dog out there with food, water and access to the florida room. I then left for about 4-5 hours and i just got home to find my dog inside the house.. I dont know how long she was in the house but I am worried about her health if she was exposed to the bug bomb chemicals. She seems fine so far other than being really hyper and happy that we came home.. Any information or advice will be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance!
I should also mention that we dont have a vet here where we live because my dog is aggressive to people she doesnt know and its too dangerous with her being aggressive and 130 pounds.. Also we dont have a car to take her to the vet.. i know i should take her but i dont think i can without a vehicle, vet or any idea where the vet is...

If you are still worried you can try to give her a non baked, beaten egg with 1 small spoon of sugar in it. It is a kind of prevention from poisoning. I don't think that she will need it, but if you are so afraid, try it. I got this information from my vet for a fast reaction while we were 100 km far away from the town on a vacation. Good luck

Ok wait...what? There are homeless people living UNDER your house? How did they get in there? Dig a hole under your foundation or do you have a small, crawlspace like access point? Even then, there's not much room to manuver. Are you absolutely positive there are people there? First of all, that's trespassing and the cops should haul them out, leaving you to be able to block up the area without leaving anyone to rot under there. If the local police aren't doing that, then call the troopers. Honestly, there's no cop who's going to say "Ooops, sorry, can't do anything about people hanging out in your foundation". That's a no brainer. I wonder where you're living where you felt the need to have to spend a bunch of money for security cams.

Bath your dog to wash any poison off her coat and take her straight to the vet. These poisons take days to kill. The sooner she gets treated the better.
Take the packet of the bug bomb with you. The vet will need to know whats in it.

You need to take her to the vet immediately. There is no simple way to determine how much of the pesticide your dog has inhaled. Read the caution instructions on the package. for what do in case of exposure also.Watch out for dilated pupils seizures increased respiration rate etc.
Here is the pet poison control hotline. They may be able to advise you further. You will need the package the insecticide came in for the main ingredient.

Your dog MAY be fine. The foggers are made for invertebrates so I believe it won't hurt your dog. If you see your dog acting weird or just to take precautions, contact a vet.
