Computer programming or computer applications A.A?

I'm trying to decide which A.A to get. My college offers computer programming and computer applications song with other certificate programs. I guess what I wanna know is which one gets paid better and what jobs can I get with each? I do wanna get my B.A but I first I need my A.A, right?

    I suggest you take up programming instead as there are more opportunities available with it.

    You don't need to get an AA first, can go straight to school for a BA, actually probably a BS for those fields.
