Will PS4 win the 8th gen console battle?
So far Ps4 has more pre orders for both Gamestop and Amazon than Xbox One. And everyone I talk to says the Wii U is a joke, then again Nintendo is a joke. So will Playstation win the console battle like we have done in the 5th Gen and 6th gen (ps1 and ps2).

Now Gamer offers a slightly different take on the scenario, with numbers from investment advice firm Seeking Alpha, stating that first quarter sales for the PlayStation 4 will be around 1.8 million while the Xbox One will move around 1.1 million in the first quarter based on the units both systems are moving via pre-orders.

Second poster is half right. The One has the top spot again, but there are many PS4 bundle compared to only one for the Xbox, and they have not said if it is the PS4 edition that is being beaten in pre orders, or all the PS4 bundles combined.
It is however too early to say.

Pre orders don't matter the only way to find out who will win is to wait for them to launch after microsoft changed their policy both consoles looks the same I mean look at ps3 remember it's launch high price poor launch lineup but look at it now 360 launch RROD expensive repairs this generation didn't had a good start but look at them now we have to wait and see what will happen to ps4 and x1 I mean both console exclusives were great but I think both companies will announce more games before release to increase their sales
