What are some restaruants that you would recomend when going to Vegas.?

There is an excellent steak house called Del Frisco Steak House. However, it's not on the strip.

In Planethollywood there is a Brazilian steak house called Pampas. There is also a moderately priced Hawaiin Fusion restaurant called Cheesburger. Don't let the name fool you. They have excellent seafood tacos. It seems like most buffets have their seafood night on Fridays.

Look in the online Frommer's guide for even more suggestions. That's how I found Del Frisco's.

Go down the street, Las Vegas Blvd. South near Town Square. Rio Brazil. It is like $50 a person and you can eat all the steak and meat you want. They just keep coming back with more and more food. You may have to stand in line some days. But if you want a treat. Do not miss this place.

If you have a car it is but a 10 minute ride ... bus, any Las Vegas Blvd. bus going south, same side of the street as CP. Walking, 3 miles is my estimate.

You are on vacation, so treat yourself at this place.

If you have a car.... Take a ride to Henderson. Tuscan Villa on S. Eastern Ave, near Sun Ridge Heights. This has to be the best Italian Restaurant in Clark County. I am single and take the ladies there and they love it, as do I. It is a great place.

In your car from CP 25 minutes top.

Any restaurant by the Bellagio lake would be a great place to eat, or Twist at Mandarin Oriental if you want something really different. Or Studio B buffet, Aria buffet and of course the new Bacchanal buffet at Caesars are the top 3 buffets if you want a large place serving top dishes (for those on a budget, Palms buffet offers great dishes at super affordable prices, and the dishes are on the gourmet-side)

we really enjoyed the restaurants at the Mandalay Bay - seafood was terrific

McDonald, Olive Garden, red lobster, Pizza Hut. Any of those should do.
