There's an expression in German (something like) fertaide gun es, that I believe it means?
or it is similar to consummatum est....can you help me decipher this phrase...thank you.

Going from what you might hear to actual German is difficult because of the difference in the alphabets and sound systems.
I believe you may mean "fertigung es" which would mean to complete a process of making something.
I believe that consummatum has a similar meaning.
Fertig may mean both finished a well as ready.
Another possibility is the German word, "verteidigung." which means defense.
Try these two ideas on your material. It is probably close to one or the other.

There is no expression that's spelled like that in german. There may be something that's pronounced like that - unfortunately I have no idea how you'd pronounce it.
