Long evening layover in LAX?
Hi everyone,
In a couple of weeks, I have the pleasure of a 7-hour layover in LAX. I'm going between a SkyWest flight arriving at 6:30 pm and a Cathay Pacific departure at 1:15 the next morning.
Any suggestions for things to do near LAX or in TBIT? For example, I've got my eyes on the nearby In-n-Out.

Honestly the best opinion is to go to In-n-out by taking the Lot C bus to the bus station and either take a 5 minute walk to In-n-Out or take the Blue, Culver City, or the MTA 102.
In TBIT the new Terminal is not open yet sadly meaning after TSA nothing to do other than just roam around. Gate 130-134 is the first part of the New Tom Bradley Terminal. There is a good chance your gate will be in the new building.

If you don't mind walking, In & out is about a 1/2 mile north of LAX at Sepulveda and Lincoln. I go there all the time. But I would not recommend going out late at night to the pier or other places. Go and have a hamburger at In & Out and then go back to the airport and just visit the Tom Bradley terminal. Los Angeles can be dangerous late at night. So be safe.

The In N Out is a good idea. Maybe you could catch a bus or taxi up to the Santa Monica Pier. Venice beach is closer, but it closes down in the evening, and gets really creepy at night. Santa Monica Pier is still pretty safe into the night.
