Can I transfer money from a 2 person account to a solo account?
When I say I am transfering money from a 2 person account to a solo account I had an account my mother started for me when I was a teenager, the bank would not let someone under 16 have a solo account so she attached her name to it but all the money is mine. My mother said when I move for college it would be best to transfer the money to a local bank where I am going to be at. Will I have any problems doing so with her name attached to the original account?

Because of you age then no you will not have a problem. Your mum is only seen as a guardian to the account until you are 16.
