Is it bad to not want a girlfriend in high school?
Personally, I think high school is the years where someone develops their character and all that good stuff. I mean if you have a relationship, that's great and power to you, but I want to, you know, get good scores and be able to thrive?
Sorry if it comes off as judgemental. I mean no disrespect.

Not at all. I for one just dated my right hand throughout the course of high school, if you know what I mean ;)

no you're not judgmental and you seem very smart for thinking that way. that's a great idea to focus on your school work, because relationships are a lot of time and work and usually don't last in high school anyways. It is better to focus on school so you can get into a good college and then date when you're older and it will be more serious relationships. And yes high school is about learning who you are and what you like and having fun. Join a sport or try something new. Join a school club or volunteer, it looks good for college. And meet new people and make new friends in high school. Relationships aren't that important right now.

Just do what you want. If you don't a relationship don't have one. You won't mess up your life by focusing on education.
