How much walking should i give my dog?

hes a 3 1/2 yr old rottweiler weighs 50 kilo i walk him 6miles in the morning takes 1 hr 50 and 3.5 mile at night he is off lead most of the time but only runs now and then

    That sounds great! I would recommend some running in there.. not absolutely necessary, but my big weimaraner boy loves to run alongside the bike for a few miles. It also cuts the time down by alot. So your 1 hr 50 min in the morning, could only take .5 hours.. just an idea :)

    Sounds like he is getting plenty of exercise.

    I was going to suggest about 1 hour walk in the morning, 30 minute mid/late afternoon, and 1-2 hours in the evening. Running isn't necessary. Make sure you keep him on leash during walks - it's the law and reduces many potential risks for you, your dog, others, and other dogs.

    The walks you are giving him are great but if he is being overly hyper

    then maybe you should take him later on just for a run or walk to make

    sure he lets off the rest of hi steam! :)

    I have a deerhound puppy's, weighs as much as you rotti, that is plenty
