Why has my rabbit stopped using her litter tray in her hutch?

She comes out in the morning and goes on a heap of currants hidden behind the shed and leaves her little tray untouched. I am more than happy with this arrangement (saves me a yukky job) - just wondering why she is doing this?.She is 3 years old and long ago neutered...

Sometimes when rabbits hit puberty they begin to use public toilets. But not the ones that cost 20p because lets not be silly, rabbit aren't going to pay to piss.

has any other animal come in contact with her litter tray? I have a rabbit and a cat, and for some reason, it's my cat's life goal to pee in my bunny's litter tray. so when my cat pees in it, my bunny refuses to go anywhere near it! territorial thing i guess :)
