In a sense. Snowden felt he had a moral obligation to expose the NSA's dirty doings, so since the vast majority of people associate morality with religion, perhaps there was some higher hand guiding the boy.

I don't know the specific case as it is a repetitive event when some people being anti-Americans are trying to hurt the country. About the religious conviction of that guy, I have no idea. Same for the leader of Wiki leaks.
For me, even if they might denounce some bad sides they are promoting the hatred by doing it. Everywhere in politic it will have corruption and bad decisions all over the planet. So! When we choose to hurt the biggest one then there are more negative sides than a small country as Netherlands.

No idea about Snowden.
The wikileaks guy, Julian Assange, is most likely an atheist (considering his background).
I very much doubt religion was a factor with either of them.
