How long does the fatigue last after radiation treatments have ended?
I had 7 weeks of daily radiation treatments for breast cancer. The treatments ended the last week in April of this year. I didn't have any side affects until towards the end when I got very tired. I go to bed tired and I wake up tired. My Radiation Oncologist thinks I should be feeling better by now. From what I've read online, it says fatigue can last up to one year. Any feedback on your experiences will be appreciated.

I would expect that it would be gone by now. How is your diet? That can be a big issue. Also, are you losing weight? With some cancer treatments, you can end up with something similar to anorexia, where the body is unable to put on weight.
I had a different cancer, but my extreme fatigue from radiation lasted for a month or so. A big part of that was nutrition as well.

I never experienced any fatigue with my radiation treatments..if what you read online is correct, then there is nothing to worry about.

Stay positive and try to be active. It really should go away before long, but sitting around can make you want to keep sitting around.
I didn't experience extended fatigue, but the burning continued.
