How could to make a rotater?
I have a lazer pointer and it has a cap that distorts the beam and breaks it up into smaller beams and you can twist the cap for different distortions
how could i build a piece that rotates the cap for me?

You can get a motor and have some stepping gears which slow down the rotation. Power the motor with a battery and give it a double row switch.
