PS2, PS3, or PS4. which to buy?

I'm a big Kingdom Hearts fan. I have all th games available for Hand held consoles and I had 1 and 2 for PS2 but someone poured hot wax on my console and now it's broke..KH3 is coming out on PS4, so I'll have to get that. But 1.5 is available on PS3. So should I buy that one too? But I still want to play my copies of 1&2, some people have said the newer models of PS3 aren't compatible with PS2 at all, but the older models are, so how do I know which is which? These are the only games I play on the PlayStation so I don't want to buy all three consoles. I'm more of a 3 DS kinda person..

Update:

Why would you buy something to use it once? You must be a female who buys $700 designer shoes and then never wears them, huh?

With the PS2, most of it's games can be found used or very cheap, plus the console itself the cheapest of all three.

The PS3 is slightly more expensive, but it has some amazing titles (not to say the PS2 didn't have some of its own) plus it still has games coming out for it, but only the earliest models play PS2 discs (80GB or less)

Luckily the PS Store has the classics section where some but not all PS2 & 1 games can be bought and downloaded.

The PS4 won't play PS2 OR PS3 discs but Sony said they would let you stream PS1,2,3 & 4 games in time. That's good because you can play your favourite classics but still have next gen content to look forward to.

And real, even if you've played a game, you will play it again and again if you really enjoyed it.

For example I beat Grand Theft Auto IV 3 times plus DLC yet I still play it, same thing with Sonic Generations which I've already beaten twice. You don't just stop once the story's finished, unless it's a game that sucks.

    CECHBxx (Hardware based backwards compatibility)

    CECHAxx (Hardware based backwards compatibility)

    CECHExx (Software based backwards compatibility)

Though all of the PS3 models above are discontinued, so you'll have to buy them used from some moron who likes sticking cheese in the disc tray.

And I've reported the other [useless] answer~
