Is it ok for a 23 yr old guy to date a 12 yr old girl ? Why or why not?

When people answer that it's against the law, are you guys saying it's against the law where she lives or where -you- live? (Remember that there are different cultures and laws out there)

I'm against it as each year of being a teenager is a huge part of growing up. She really doesn't know much despite many that age thinking that they do.

Its not okay. A 12 year old does not have much ideas of relationships. Due to huge age difference, what common interest could they have? A young girl is too immature to enter a relationship. So NO.

NO that isn't normal AT ALL. He is nearly twice her age and I can't understand what he'd see in her. She is a child and she is underage. Please make sure this girl is safe and doesn't get hurt. If other members of your family don't know about their relationship you need to tell them. If child protection services found out he could be in a lot of trouble.

it's not ok... dating is one thing, but sexual contact is another issue! there are laws against having sexual relationships with minors... your cousin can get into serious trouble if anything goes wrong.
