Will churches in the US be obligated to solemnize same-sex marriage now that the SC has struck down DOMA?

DOMA had nothing to do with whether churches could solemnize same-sex marriage (you know separation of church and state). DOMA said that same sex marriages and unions could not get the same federal benefits as hetero marriages.

Primitive religion has always lagged behind the improvement in moral attitudes and that is what these people are doing to Christianity – making it primitive!

If the churches learn to keep it within their church and following and stop persecuting people outside their church then nothing will change but if they carry on persecuting people then the likely outcome would be to remove the licence to marry people from the churches!

Schools used to teach comparative religion and allow prayer but Christians demanded only Christianity be taught and that was a clear breech of the constitution so religion was banned!

I believe you're right that the reason that they do not want to legalize same sex divorce is because by so doing they would be legitimizing same sex marriage indirectly. Also, easily obtained divorces could also lead to more people seeking marriage licenses for the legal benefits without being committed to the long haul commitment.

while I dislike religion, and the bigotry it causes. it would be an affront to the most important document that every true patriot holds inhighest regards- the UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION, to turn around and require religions to perform marriages it does not wish to recognize. this doesn't just extend to gay marriage but interfaith marriage or any marriage their religion doesn't want to recognize.

if a person CHOSES to be a member of that religion, that's a choice, if gays want a religious wedding and church A doesnt' want o perform it, im sure church B, C and D which are less intolerant will be glad to have them.

No. The U.S. constitution specifically prohibits any laws regulating religious practices. Churches are still free to perform or withhold rites as they see fit. The main impact is that the federal government has to extend the same treatment (taxes, benefits, etc.) to all legally married couples regardless of gender.

No. Individual churches are still free to refuse to marry any couple that doesn't meet their requirements. It's always been that way.

It's perfectly legal for a Catholic to marry a divorced Jew, but you won't find many priests willing to officiate at such a marriage. Same sex marriages will be no different. Legal, but no individual clergy person will be forced to marry those who his church does not deem able to be married under its rules.

Same sex marriage is a civil matter not to be confused with the sacrament of marriage. There is no requirement for the clergy to perform same sex marriages; however, there is a requirement for the courts to do so.
