my bikes chain keeps popping off?
i was riding my bike and the chain popped off so i flipped the bike and put the chain back on flipped back got on and started riding after about a min or so it popped again so i put it back on then as soon as i start moving again it pops so i take the chain of almost completely and look at the chain and gears and it looks to be in almost perfect shape other than a bet of rust i don't know what is wrong with it and if you could tell what is wrong i would be greatly appreciative

You need to adjust the chain tension by moving the wheel back. There should be about 1/2" total play in the center of the chain.

It is absolutely the derailleur. The derailerur and/or the cable wants to be adjusted. What's quite often taking place is that while you shift gears, the deraileur is just not aligning the chain on the sprockets right, so it can be "between gears" and the chain jumps off the sprockets. It's sort of like the clutch now not attractive utterly on a car, and not being able to shift into exact gears. I had this problem with quite a lot of my bikes. You have got to get the deraileur adjusted, usually by tigtening or loosening the shift cables so that it'll align the chain correct while you shift gears. I do not know why these other solutions were voted thumbs down...They had been excellent answers. Sometimes I consider humans simply come and randomly click thumbs down on answers due to the fact that they feel it can be funny.
