Difference/ conflicts between English and Russian language?

Question

We're asked to write a contrastive analysis between two languages. I chose Russian-English. I need to know examples of words, phrases, grammars or sentences that would show the big difference between the two languages. Any example would be a great help, specially if it is a translated Russian sentence.

In Russian: there is no article, the nouns are declined, the verb is conjuncted and there is no subject as it can be understood by the verb ending.
Мы - народный фронт, и мы - за Россию. (Putin)
We are the people's front and we are for Russia.
No copular verb, the adjective is agreed with the noun.

English
Uses the Latin alphabet with 26 letters, with five vowels. English words do not have a gender assigned to them. Plurals are formed by adding "-(e)s". All words have to change to fit the tense of the sentence. There aren't any grammatical cases in English as far as I know.

Russian
Uses the Cyrillic alphabet with 33 letters, with ten vowels and two pronunciation letters (soft and hard signs). Russian nouns have a gender assigned to them (masculine, feminine, or neuter). Plurals are formed by having ы or и at the end. All verbs have to be conjugated according to the pronoun. Russian has six grammatical cases with each having a specific ending to it.
