Depends on the age of the dog and the breed. They are fairly active until they are two, then they slow down and sleep a lot. Expect 12-18 hours of sleep a day.
If you take your dog out to walk and such, it will have more energy and be awake more. If it seems to have serious energy problems all the time, then go to the vet.

Depends on the dog and the level of activity. Mine have 3 - 4 hours daily exercise in the country. The rest of the time they doze or go outside.

when they are puppies they have burst energies, so they b active for like 20min and sleep for hours and then move around for more and sleep. when they get a lil older they wont sleep as much
