is it okay to use popcorn oil on other than popcorn?

I'm bout out of the reg. cooking oil can't go shopping till summer is gone'

    It is good to use popcorn oil but it is expensive.

    It should say on the label what kind of oil it is, I'm sure it is ok since it is used for food'

    yes it is the same oil and can be used the same. it may have salt in it or some seasoning need to read the label. never used it but seen it used. flavor might change flavor but it is the same oil.

    Sure it's only corn oil.
