How much is a taxi from Victoria coach station to The Royal Albert Hall?

Me and my sister are seeing a band at The Royal Albert Hall and we go by coach. A friend of mine and her sister are going on the same coach as us and we've decided to go together.

Me and my sister usually go from the coach station to our destination on the tube but my friend said we should go in a taxi and split the cost by four.

How much would that cost each person?

Average taxi fare for this distance is £16 (plus surcharge in the evenings and on Sundays). That is £4

each. If you walk down Buckingham Palace Road to Victoria Station (250 yards), the 52 bus runs from in front of the station to the Albert Hall every few minutes. Cash fare £2.40. Debit cards also accepted

Depending on the route/time/traffic conditions... the end value could be anything from £8-15. But in all honesty, it's only about a 2000m maybe less through the side streets... you could comfortably walk it in under 30 minutes and save yourself say £2-5 each?

    Taxi for 4!!!

A black cab will cost between £7 & £8, but could be up to £15 if the traffic is bad.
