I'm falling hard for this guy, he knows I really fancy him were both in our early 20s. Last night I texted him "I love you, don't ever forget." And his response was a long line of smilies like this " :)))))))" what would you say that meant, honesty please.

I think that means that hes really happy that yiu love him but he doesnt feel the same way yet and wants to wait to say it back to you until he can actually mean it. Its actually really sweet!

He may not love you just yet or feels its too early to say I love you.. Don't overwhelm him with mushy stuff, he might run off. Lol.. Good luck

Either, he was genuinely happy...OR he doesn't feel the same way and he doesn't wanna hurt your feelings. The tiebreaker for that is...did he say I love you BACK to you when you said it? If he did, he was really happy and he likes you. If he didn't...then idk about him..
