What house hold items can I use as soap molds?
I need a mold for this soap I am going to make, I am using the melt and pour method just if you need to know that. I don't want to go to the store to get these soap molds, so I was wondering if there were any house hold items I could use, I don't care what shape it is. Thanks!

Any silicone baking pans or ice cube try is awesome!
Old yogurt or sour cream containers.
Anything plastic is wonderful, because you can bend it a little to push out the soap.
You can use rigid molds like cupcake pans and the like, if you want, you can line them with plastic wrap so it will come out easier. Also if you have a hard time getting them out because they can stick some, put the soap in the freezer for a couple of min and then they should pop right out!
I'm sure you have read this already but just encase, if you are doing layers of color and let one color set a little, make sure and spray with rubbing alcohol so the next layer will stick. Or if your doing inbeads spray them with the rubbing alcohol too before you put the next warm soap on.
Happy soaping!

ice cube trays
sardine tins
upside-down cookie cutters
jam or pickle jar lids
egg cups
an aluminum (not Teflon) frying pan: pour the soap 1/2" thick then when its firm, cut into shapes with cookie cutters
the cardboard center from a roll of paper towels: cap off one end with triple layer of aluminum foil held on with a rubber band, support the roll in a quart sealer and fill with melted soap. When soap is cooled, slice the tube into disks with a bread knife and peel off the cardboard.
