Algebra, can't figure out radius.?

I am apparently failing at simple algebra.

I'm trying to find the radius of a circle based on an impression left in a soft material. The depression is circular (assumed) and measures 0.262 deep and 2.544 wide.

Using a^2+b^2=c^2 with the available data, I have:

(2.544/2)^2 + (c-0.262)^2 = c^2

(substituting the difference from c as b, that being the depth of the impression.)

My algebra skills are so rusty I need some help solving for C. Sad, I know.

Update:

I completely sabotaged myself calculating the radius and assuming I was wrong because I had an approximate diameter in mind. Somehow I feel slightly more competent, yet dumber at the same time.

    2.544 / 2 = 1.272

    1.272 * 1.272 = 0.262 * x

    x + 0.262 = diameter of the circle

    x = 6.1755114503816793893129770992366

    (x + 0.262) / 2 =>

    3.2187557251908396946564885496183

    The radius is 3.219
