Does this guy like me!? I'm pretty sure I like him.....?

So there is this one guy that I like. I think he might like me. He went out of town and might live somewhere else. The last time I saw him I think he tried to kiss me, but I'm not completely sure. He didn't exactly say goodbye before he left, but when I talked to him over Facebook he said he really regrets that he didn't say goodbye and that it was a huge mistake. I messaged him on Facebook a few times throughout the summer. Once to apologize for being rude. Once to see if his trip was good. He replied to both of those. When I asked how the place he was, he never replied. I know he saw it though, but it was in the wee hours of the morning. I think I want him to like me; but I'm not sure. Do you think he likes me? Any input helps. It means a lot to me.
