Fan oven problem. HELP!?
The element doesn't heat when I set it to "Fan oven" but DOES when I set it to "grill" - so the element itself seems to be okay. What's the problem? And can I fix it myself or do I need to get.someone in?

The grill element is separate from the fan oven element. The oven element is concealed behind the back panel and is circular and surrounds the fan. So it is this element that is dead. If you are handy with a screwdriver you can DIY the replacement for the cost of the part. See link. Turn off the electrical supply to the oven. Using a torch and screwdriver unscrew the retaining screws and remove the back panel. You will then see the element. Unscrew the fixings and gently pull the element forward so that you can detach the connectors. Put a clothes peg on each connector as if they fall back into the void you will have to remove the whole oven and dismantle to retrieve them.
